About Bella Magic & Events
Bella Magic & Events is a Southern California wedding planning, design, and production studio founded by planner and designer Diana Hajjar. With a background in art and design and years of experience producing celebrations across different cultures and destinations, Diana approaches each event with both a creative eye and a deep understanding of the logistics required to bring an experience to life.
At the heart of Bella Magic & Events is a simple belief:
every celebration should have its own identity.
Rather than designing around a formula or a passing trend, we begin with the people at the center of the event—their story, personalities, cultural influences, traditions, and the way they want their guests to feel. From there, every element is intentionally layered together to create a celebration that feels cohesive, elevated, and unmistakably personal.
Meet Diana- Founder, Lead Planner, Designer
For Diana, event design has always been about more than creating something beautiful. It is about understanding people and translating who they are into an experience.
With a background in art and design, Diana approaches each celebration with an artist's eye- from the overall atmosphere and spatial design to color, florals, stationery, lighting, and the smallest personal details.
Her Master's degree in Education brings another dimension to her work. Years spent developing the skills to lead, communicate, organize, and navigate different personalities have translated naturally into event production, where bringing a complex celebration to life can mean directing large teams of creative partners, managing countless moving pieces, and keeping everyone working toward one shared vision.
Combined with years of experience planning and producing events across different destinations and cultures, that balance of creativity and leadership allows Diana to move seamlessly between the two sides of her work:
the artistry of designing an experience and the precision required to produce it.
Her work has also given her a particular appreciation for celebrations rooted in heritage, family, and tradition. Whether incorporating cultural customs into a large-scale wedding or designing an intimate celebration around a couple's personal story, Diana believes the most meaningful events are the ones that feel deeply connected to the people at their center.
The Story Behind The Magic
Family has always been at the heart of Diana's life and, ultimately, became part of the story behind Bella Magic & Events.
In 2020, following the arrival of her daughter, Diana reimagined and rebranded the company in her honor. What began as a deeply personal chapter became a defining part of the Bella Magic philosophy: to create celebrations with the same care, intention, and emotional connection she would bring to her own family.
That philosophy continues to shape the way Diana works today. Clients are not treated as transactions or simply another event on the calendar. Relationships are built through trust, communication, and genuine investment in the people behind each celebration.
The name may have been inspired by a very personal kind of magic, but the work itself is grounded in something much more tangible-thoughtful design, meaningful details, seamless planning, and the moments people carry with them long after the celebration ends.

From venue selection and vendor management to design, florals, décor, stationery, lighting, and event-day execution, every decision is considered as part of one complete experience.
